Body positivity, especially with regards to the genitals, is a beautiful, wonderful thing. But from my experience it’s always been so one-sided, with poetic, nearly worshipful language being dedicated to the female anatomy while decrying the male as “gross” and “weird looking.” And frankly, I think that’s awful. Both parts have their positives and negatives, but the male body should be loved and celebrated just as much as the female, and to say otherwise is both demeaning and sexist. So if vaginas get to be flowers, then penises should get to be trees, that way everybody gets to be beautiful.
